Job Description: Landscape or maintain grounds using hand or power tools or equipment such as mowers, chain saws, trimmers, edgers and sod cutters. Mow, trim, plant, water, remove sod, fertilize, dig, rake, install sprinklers and mortarless walls and walks. Cultivate soil, bed preparation and excavation by hand using shovels and pitchforks for installation and preparation of new landscapes. Move heavy materials by hand, plant cart or wheelbarrows. Ball and burlap root balls for transplanting trees. Care for established lawns/beds by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch and trimming around flower beds, walks and walls. Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, axes and pitchforks. Move, remove and plant large trees and shrubs. Rake, mulch, and compost leaves. Remove leaves using blowers , rakes and tarps. Haul leaves. Plant bulbs, seeds, grass and ground covers, trees, shrubs and apply mulch using garden tools. Extensive push/pull, sitting and walking. Exposure to extreme temps. Frequent stooping and repetitive movements. Will daily transportation be provided?: Yes. Transportation is provided by the employer from central location to residential customers in Cuyahoga and Geauga Counties within a 30 mile radius of business in Lyndhurst.
