TADCO Engineering and Environmental Services, LLC Structural Engineer in Lyndhurst, New Jersey

Prepare engineering drawings and reports, including design, charts, diagrams, and photographic documentation. Conduct stability analyses and perform calculations for foundations and earth-retaining walls. Execute non-destructive testing including GPR, Schmidt hammer, and Proceq Profometer to conduct concrete scans and measurements for concrete rebar detection, size, thickness of cover and spacing and to conduct scans for buried objects of interest such as buried pipes, tanks, and disturbed earth. Engage in assessment of clients’ needs and define project requirements. Schedule project phases, tasks, and timeframes. Coordinate with administrative staff for authorization of project. Create technical elements of design utilizing available software programs such as ETABS, SAP2000, AUTOCAD, and Inventor. Perform structural analysis and design of composite/steel structures and retaining walls. Coordinate general notes and code requirements with design parameters. Communicate design changes with architects and other engineers. Calculate and design deep foundations, including helical piles. Conduct structural stress and failure analysis for existing structures. Perform calculations and drafting for support of excavation analysis and design. Perform site development plans and prepare structural plans. Create design drafts for review and finalization by principal engineers. Conduct site visits to assess need for field adjustments. Monitor construction activities and document process and revisions. Record actual field conditions in comparison to design plans. Verify rebar size and length, as well as concrete forms. *Travel within MSA to project sites as needed *Employer will accept any suitable combo of edu/train/exp
