Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

Highly skilled and experienced senior support team leader. Works autonomously. Acts as a mentor to lower level peers and provides guidance and direction on tasks. Communicates with customers on technical matters. Makes recommendations for process improvements. Works on assignments requiring development of concepts and techniques.

Essential Functions:

  • Travel within the regional service area

  • Available to be on-call, after hours, weekends, holidays

  • Work independent of supervision

  • Interface with team to assist in troubleshooting and planning efforts

  • Builds ad hoc teams to troubleshoot issues and deploy to locations needing service

  • Allocates team resources for best and most effective use

  • Interface with customer for all technical matters

  • Willingness to learn

  • Self learner / self starter

    Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 10 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 6 years prior experience

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Communication of complex ideas in simpler terms

  • Power user MS Office, MS Dynamics

  • Use of diagnostic equipment (service monitors, watt meters)

  • Use of software diagnostics tools (wire shark, telenet)

  • Router/Switching/IP training

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the salary range for this role is $83,500 - $155,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
