Job Title: Electrode Coating Technician

Join the team as an Electrode Coating Technician and contribute to the manufacturing process of high-quality electrodes for various applications. Your role will be pivotal in creating, testing, and maintaining electrodes, ensuring our products meet stringent quality standards.

Requirements: transportation

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills are required
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, ideally with machinery operation
• Strong technical knowledge of electrode manufacturing processes
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements
• Proficient problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to comprehend instructions, document work, and maintain records

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to wear a respirator during equipment operation and setup
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Medical fitness for working with chemicals and strong magnets
• Comfortable working in a dry room environment with controlled air conditions
• Role involves standing for extended periods

Responsibilities:

• Prepare lab-scale mixes and coatings using equipment like Thinky mixers and K-bars
• Operate pilot coating equipment such as the 400mm Hirano coater
• Document pilot run processes and results
• Perform RandD activities including calendaring and slitting
• Support production by independently managing calendaring and slitting tasks for RandD projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
