Job Title: Tool Crib Attendant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Tool Crib Attendant to join our team in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of basic maintenance hand tools, tubing, bearings, valves, and pneumatics. Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential for this role, along with experience in inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Manage the tool crib and ensure all tools are in proper working condition.

• Maintain an inventory tracking system for the tool crib.

• Ensure the integrity of the toolroom by working closely with the maintenance team.

• Handle and organize industrial hand tools, bearings, pneumatic tools, basic hand tools, and valves.

• Perform regular inventory control and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Excel.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of industrial hand tools, bearings, pneumatic tools, basic hand tools, and valves.

• Experience in inventory control and management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to stand up for oneself and maintain the integrity of the toolroom.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift, from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. Some weekend and holiday work may be required. Enjoy a clean and climate-controlled environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
