: Operates and services trucks and light motorized equipment; does maintenance work on equipment. Also performs manual work in public facilities.

: - Drive light trucks to haul supplies and materials such as gravel, sand, dirt, and caliche; - Operate tractors, sweepers, mowers, front-end loaders, backhoes, and other machines of comparable size and complexity; - Maintain and service equipment, machines, and trucks; - Assist with various other activities including mowing and edging grass, installing and maintaining sprinkler systems, and removing litter and debris; - Repair damaged fences; - Care and maintain color beds and install plant material; - Direct trucks where to unload at the city landfill, weigh truck, and collect money for landfill charges; keep routine records; - Assist in the preparation for funerals; - Perform related duties as directed.

Qualifications

: Completion of the tenth grade with an additional six months to one year of experience in operation and maintenance of lightmotorized equipment; or any combination of relevant education and experiencewhich provides the following:
