Description

The primary function of this role is to ensure smooth running of our office operations within a diverse range of industries. This role suits someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in various software such as Microsoft Office Suites and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that the office is operating smoothly.

• Develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately.

• Assist with the onboarding process for new hires.

• Address employees’ queries regarding office management issues.

• Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.

• Manage office layout and coordinate with IT department on all office equipment.

• Implement advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint to create reports and presentations.

• Utilize the ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning system for efficient business processes.

• Ensure effective internal communication within the team.

• Perform other relevant tasks as required.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is essential.

• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Training skills to effectively guide and develop team members.

• Knowledge in the marine industry would be advantageous.

• Ability to manage office operations efficiently and effectively.

• Experience in managing administrative tasks and office coordination.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work based on urgency and importance.

• Proactive and problem-solving attitude towards challenges.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High level of discretion and confidentiality for sensitive information.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to supervise staff.

• Proven track record of implementing office procedures and policies.

• Ability to handle office budget and expenses.
