Description

This role will be the Finance strategic business partner to executive leadership. This leader will play a critical role driving actionable business insights and thought leadership to help accelerate the Company’s recurring revenue growth goals.

• Strategic business partner to the Group Vice President of Relationship Management by providing with data and insights to meet and exceed our key revenue objectives with Churn, Credits and Uplift to drive forward performance with UKG Recurring Revenue.

• Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and long-term financial modeling for Recurring Revenue.

• Lead informed data-driven collaborative conversations with functional business management that supports revenue growth and enterprise thinking.

• Establish and report on key business metrics that measure the organization’s progress towards its’ long-term objectives.

• Develop and prepare internal reporting packages and presentations that illustrate a well-thought-out story that is backed by strong data points and metrics and provides the business value added insight to enable business decisions.

• Continuously evolve financial and operational metrics, analysis, and support tools to deliver actionable value-added insights to the functions supported and the Executive team.

• Serve as a key member of the FP&A extended leadership team providing insightful and trusted counsel and advice while also challenging to help drive towards meeting Company financial objectives.

• Transform financial data into strategic insights, guide and advise operational leaders towards revenue growth objectives through meaningful dialogue and proactive financial planning.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.

• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals who are responsible for financial reporting, planning and analysis.

• Mentor and develop department team members, promoting a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• An undergraduate business degree in accounting or finance is required, MBA or CPA preferred.

• Demonstrated understanding of ASC 606 revenue accounting rules or related experience in a subscription-based business.

• Functional leadership experience

• Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ experience in an FP&A role at a Technology company, 15+ years overall career experience - preferred.

• Strategic-thinker with significant experience successfully developing and driving forward enterprise-level business initiatives.

• Ability to lead, influence and drive priorities at the business executive level as well as build relationships and collaborate across all levels of the company.

• Strong results orientation and accountability with the ability to solve problems and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience working as a partner to senior business leaders in an operational group.
