A day as an Operations Manager in Cirtec Medical

As the Manager of Operations, you will direct and coordinate the daily manufacturing operations, ensuring the business unit performs efficiently and effectively. Your role is dedicated to managing resources and developing efficiency strategies to meet production goals and standards at minimal manufacturing costs while enhancing customer and employee satisfaction and improving the efficiency of manpower, materials, and machines.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Key areas of expertise are:

  • Lead and manage multiple production groups and managers, overseeing all production activities in various product departments.

  • Strategically and operationally drive the company's short- and long-term production goals and initiatives, participating in strategic forums and monthly business reviews.

  • Develop and ensure accurate short-term and long-term production schedules and plans, maximizing efficiency and optimizing labor resources.

  • Manage the annual operating plan and P&L, ensuring budget compliance and maintaining production controls, quality procedures, and safety practices.

  • Build a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, mentoring associates, supporting sales teams, and serving as the manufacturing point person for audits and regulatory inspections.

    Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or equivalent.

  • Over 10 years of operations experience, including 5+ years in high-mix/high-technology environments, preferably in medical devices.

  • Preferred experience in contract manufacturing.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills.

  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects and departments, meeting deadlines, and maintaining professionalism under high workloads.

  • Excellent communication skills for technical and customer interactions.

  • Experience with FDA QSRs, ISO13485 for medical devices, and ISO 9001:2000.

  • Demonstrated success in team leadership, organizational skills, and ethical standards.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and ability to learn new technology.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
