UKG is seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Manager capable of integrating into an experienced team responsible for the design, deployment and maintenance of company's global infrastructure and hosted solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of both our public cloud and on-premise environments. You will work closely with our Site reliability and engineering teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions to support our SaaS platform.
• Oversee both public cloud environments and on-premise environments hosted on VMware and OpenStack.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud and on-premise services.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Implement and manage automation tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Oversee the use of Tanium patching tools for system updates and security.
• Manage Citrix environments to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Monitor and optimize cloud and on-premise infrastructure performance, availability, and cost.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud and on-premise technologies and best practices.
• Provide tools, procedures, and solutions for provisioning resources in a standardized manner.
• Document all infrastructure setups, including Run Books and architecture diagrams for existing and new deployments.
• Implement processes to ensure IT best practices, risk mitigation, and capacity planning.
• Ensure compliance of our systems in a complex regulatory environment
Basic Qualifications:
• Technical Experience and Expertise:
o At least 8 years of leadership experience managing large-scale cloud and virtual infrastructures.
o 8+ years of experience building or configuring cloud infrastructures, both on-premise and in public clouds like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
o Strong knowledge of Python, PowerShell, vROPs, Zerto, and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
o Extensive experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) and centralized logging solutions like Splunk.
o Experience with patching tooling and process (Tanium preferred)
o Strong understanding of cloud and on-premise security best practices.
o Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
o Strong communication and collaboration skills.
o Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
o Strong scripting skills in multiple languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell), with the ability to automate infrastructure management.
o Practical knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR).
o Familiar with ITIL processes, with a proven track record in delivering high-quality systems.
o Experienced in DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and GitHub.
o Familiar with infrastructure test automation and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
o Strong experience with services' lifecycle management, from development to deployment and scaling.

o Proven ability to lead teams, mentor others, and manage projects efficiently.

o Availability for rotational on-call support as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• GCP certification is preferred
• Knowledge of distributed version control tools (e.g., Git) and GitOps practices.
• Familiarity with storage systems is advantageous.

The pay range for this position is $126,300 to $181,550, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
