As the Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible assisting tenants through the process of lease signing, manage leases, mediate agreements, and ensure an efficient and reliable leasing process. The Leasing Consultant will tour properties and follow up with prospects to make sure that our properties are rented on time. The ideal candidate will be as personable as they are organized, committed to growing our business and instilling a sense of confidence in our tenants.

Full Time Hourly Role + Commission!

Responsibilities:

• Responds to all telephone, email, and website inquiries regarding available apartments the same day.
• Follow-up on all inquiries is required.
• Conduct property tours for potential residents and showcase available units.
• Assist in the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing.
• Utilize RentManager to manage leasing activities.
• Upsell additional services or amenities to prospective tenants.
• Prepare and execute leasing contracts in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of prospective tenants and follow up on inquiries.
• Collaborate with the property management team to ensure smooth tenant move-ins.
• Assist as needed with marketing efforts on social media and advertising on 3rd party websites and in RentManager.
• Assist on updating and posting property listings across multiple platforms.
• Review signage on properties as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in real estate administrative roles or property management.
• 1 year of customer service; preferred.
• Strong understanding of leasing contracts and legal aspects of property rentals.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing property leasing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet leasing targets.
• Familiarity with office procedures and documentation related to leasing processes.
