Taylor Logistics Inventory Specialist - MAN-25-00014 in Louisville, Mississippi

This is a position for a (Inventory Specialist) located in Louisville.

Summary: Through Taylor Logistics, our vertical integration process allows us to oversee and manage different aspects of production, from raw materials to manufacturing and assembly of parts and components and transporting those components and inventory to the production lines ready for manufacturing the whole product. Because we manufacture most of the essential components for our lift trucks, we can respond to our customers' changing needs with better attention to quality. Taylor Logistics, LLC is a subsidiary of the Taylor Group of Companies, a third-generation family-owned business based in Louisville, MS since 1927.

Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders and bill of materials. Maintains in-process inventory by delivering and opening materials and supplies. Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units. Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock. Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. Documents product shipment by recording units shipped. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs. Contributes to team effort by accomp lishing related results as needed. Skills/Qualifications: Organization, Scheduling, Analyzing Information , Dealing with Complexity, Deadline-Oriented, Time Management, Process Improvement, Safety Management, Inventory Control, Lifting, Data Entry Skills. Operates equipment such as forklift, overhead crane, Combilift, etc. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. Wear the proper safety equipment. Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise. Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.

Job Specifications or Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED equivalent. Three years job experience or equivalent in demonstrated experience and ability. General knowledge of the Taylor Parts System preferred.
