Job Description

The role involves coordinating with computer professionals, vendors, and manufacturers technicians to upgrade, install, maintain, effectively integrate, and resolve problems or errors. It includes completing the configuration, installation, and support of equipment in a primarily Microsoft Windows environment according to client proposals. The job also entails troubleshooting server and storage hardware, providing both on-site and remote support, and offering Tier III Service Desk ticket support. Additionally, it requires maintaining software applications, operating systems, and performing regular maintenance. Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel, and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and support is also a key responsibility. Monitoring and maintaining system and server-related networks, completing time logs in the work order system, troubleshooting and resolving computer and telephony-related issues, and performing related work as assigned are also part of the job.

The purpose of this position is to install, configure and upgrade workstations, servers, storage and related hardware and software in a LAN, WAN and stand-alone environment. Investigate diagnostic testing, repair and resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure issues

minimum pay STARTING at 25/hr.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves

  3-5 years of experience as a systems engineer or administrator working within the Azure and O365 environment

  3-5 years of VM Ware experience (VM Ware Horizons is preferred)

  Shell scripting experience

  3-5 years of ESXI experience Plusses

  Zscaler experience

Tax and financial systems experience null
