Job Title: Shipping Associate

Job Description

We specialize in helping people maintain or regain their freedom of movement with innovative, technology-driven prosthetic and orthotic devices and industry-leading services. With more than 7,000 employees in 50 countries, we ship prosthetics all over the world. Our Louisville DC was selected due to its proximity to UPS and FedEx facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the movement of materials from receiving to shipping, including all processes in between.

• Pick up paper orders and use the information to pick the order.

• Check and double-check all orders for accuracy.

• Bring orders to the computer station, enter the order, and print labels.

• Pack items and set them in the correct dock with accurate labels.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of shipping/receiving functions

• High School diploma or GED

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (65 lbs with team lift)

• Capacity to stand or walk 6-8 hours/day

• Ability to read and follow written work instructions

• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet)

• Once trained, must have a good understanding of MRP system and be able to process orders without supervision

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
