As a GE Appliances Senior FP&A Analyst (Microenterprises) you’ll lead the coordination and execution of the company's 5-year strategic plan, including managing the annual budgeting process and overseeing routine financial planning cycles. Additionally, you’ll facilitate communication of financial information to internal and external stakeholders and provide expertise and ownership on product line end-to-end financial reporting processes, testing logic changes, creating enhancements, and providing end user training.

How You'll Create Possibilities

  • Leads Finance coordination and execution of the company’s 5-year Strategic Long-Term Plan.

  • Coordinates the annual total business budgeting process, as well as other routine financial planning cycles (i.e. S&OP, short range outlooks, recasts).

  • Assists with communication & reporting of financial targets and updates on total business and microenterprise performance to operating leaders (CEO / Staff, CFO / Staff).

  • Provides expertise and ownership on product line end-to-end (E2E) financial reporting processes, including testing logic changes, creating enhancements, and end user training.

  • Explores and provides insightful reporting around SKU level analytics profitability.

  • Prepares consolidated business results and commentary to support monthly Operating Reviews with Haier & GEA leadership, as well as other ad-hoc leadership team touch points.

  • Conducts monthly financial reporting and performs variance analysis against prior year results, budget, and latest forecasts for Senior Leadership.

  • Owns the Product Management and Finance functions in all finance and accounting matters, including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, headcount, and controllership.

  • Researches, analyzes, and reports external influences including analysis of competitors, retailers, economy, and market trends.

  • Serves as a center point of contact across all microenterprise and functional FP&A leaders.

  • Responds promptly to ad-hoc requests received directly from Executive Director of FP&A, CFO, & CEO.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in finance or related field

  • 3+ years of experience with demonstrated proficiency in MS Office application suite, primarily Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. pivot tables, advance lookups, macros, logic creation, and formatting).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing actionable insights.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing financial statements.

  • 2+ years of experience demonstrating proficiency in FP&A reporting systems & large data sets, including Oracle Hyperion, OBIEE/OBIA, and other Oracle systems.
