We are currently seeking a Senior EPMO Manager that will report to the Senior Director of Operations Risk and Managed Services, and is a strategic delivery leader position, with extensive experience in program and project management, and leading diverse teams to integrate people, processes, and technology. This leader will be working with a dynamic team, designing impactful strategies, and solving complex business problems for enterprise-wide functions. Your team will be comprised of Program Managers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts, with direct and indirect reporting lines, in the US and offshore. This division is also responsible for integration and conversion activities, ranging from larger scale Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures to small scale asset purchases or sales.

Leading this group and working with cross functional stakeholders, you will craft a roadmap to strengthen the bank's project management practices, review new business initiatives, execute strategic initiatives, and support effective integration to further growth. The EPMO activities require some efficiency creation, and under your leadership, the EPMO will further develop delivery focus and best practices to serve our final customers.

Key Accountabilities

    Develop a long-term vision and roadmap for enhancing the EPMO
  • Standardize project management activities where they occur outside of EPMO
  • Design / streamline E2E EPMO activities
  • Ensure that our customers' current and future needs are met
  • Manage the EPMO associates, including talent acquisition, matching the right people to opportunities, mentoring and developing, setting up KPIs and KRIs, and guiding the team to achieve success

Key Deliverables:

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining Program Roadmaps
  • Responsible for program status reporting across multiple audiences
  • Responsible for streamlining E2E processes and providing transparency across the organization

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Experience in working with SVP and C-level customers
  • 10-15 years of technology, program/project management (experience with agile or scrum teams preferred)
  • Ability to manage remote and offshore employees
  • Experience in identifying and quantifying use cases or benefits realization metrics
  • Experience in process improvement / redesign
  • Excellent oral and communication skills, ability to explain complicated technical concepts to senior people with diverse backgrounds (business, procurement, technology)
  • Good team player: hungry for work, humble, people smart
  • A strong player/coach who can be a great individual contributor to overall EPMO team success
