Actalent Robotics Application Engineer in Louisville, Kentucky

Job Title: Robotics Application EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a subject matter expert in robotic welding vision with a customer-facing focus. You will work with customers on sold products such as sophisticated vision inspection and automated camera equipment to visually inspect robotic seam welding applications. Your role involves determining the best options for customers, building relationships, managing projects through to completion, and coaching and training customers on the products. You will also hand off work to the service team for hands-on tasks and manage these to ensure customer needs are met.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully remote position.

Work Environment

This person can work out of a home office with the ability to travel to customers in the region. Occasionally, you will need to visit Louisville when customers come onsite to see a product and meet with them. The ideal candidate will be located in KY, OH, IN, or TN. Expect weekly travel, typically 1-2 nights, though you may return home the same night depending on customer location.
