Description

TEKsystems, in support of the Commonwealth Office of Technology, is seeking 2 Networking Specialists . We are looking for one person in the London/Somerset or surrounding area of the state and one person in the Louisville area. The person is Southeastern KY will be responsible for supporting Southwest, Southern and Southeast counties, and the person in Louisville will support central KY along and near the I-65 corridor all the way down to the TN border. This will be a highly technical position with a preferred knowledge base in several different areas including but not limited to data switch configuration/troubleshooting/installation, router configuration/troubleshooting/installation, VOIP phones staging/installing/troubleshooting/testing, fax line testing/adds/moves/changes, and Infrastructure Cabling.

The Network Specialists will work from home and be on call handling any issues in their areas. A State vehicle will be provided. Off hours on site calls are very rare. There will be a few OT hours from time to time, but it is not routine.

The Louisville based position will be servicing some correctional complexes near LaGrange as well, so the candidate must be comfortable with occasional visits to those environments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00
