Division Information

Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in McKinney, TX. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium- and heavy-duty truck parts sold under Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For more than forty years, Dynacraft has provided the company's truck divisions and PACCAR Parts service parts division with high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services. Dynacraft has production facilities inLouisville, KY and McKinney, TX.

Requisition Summary

Dynacraft is currently hiring a Manufacturing Engineer (ME) for Day Shift. The ME reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager at the Louisville KY facility.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Review proposed engineering designs for manufacturing feasibility and recommend revisions as necessary
  • Assist with manufacturing process development for new products with direct customer and supplier contact
  • Plan for and support production implementation of new product introductions including material staging at cell and packaging requirements for shipping
  • Develop labor standards for new projects
  • Design and procure production tooling and fixtures, including preparation of drawings and specs and bid generation and evaluation
  • Develop new work cell layouts and assist in rearrangements to add new product lines
  • Recommend safety and ergonomic improvements
  • M Odel designs for both customer and Dynacraft proprietary products on Pro-E, develop drawings, BOM's, testing plans and cost estimates
  • Assist in continuous improvement through kaizen and lean projects
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred)
  • 2-5years of experience in Engineering preferred
  • Six Sigma & Project Managementtraining strongly desired
Qualifications
  • Experience with Pro-E or equivalent solid modeling system
  • Product knowledge is desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
  • Strong PC and CAD skills
  • Understanding of Six-Sigma process improvement methods
  • Prior background in manufacturing environment preferred
  • Familiarity with use and applications for PLC control systems
  • ISO 9001, APQP experience preferred

Additional Information

At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this role is $65,500-$98,300 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.This is a safety-sensitive position, and the pre-employment drug testing includes cannabis testing.
