Papa John's International Manager, Collections in Louisville, Kentucky

Job Summary

Manage and supervise, as well as actively participate in, the daily processes and operations of the global Accounts Receivable collections team with the goal being to ensure timely payments and/or improve collections of amounts past due. Ability to create and review analytical reports on a timely basis to enable coaching the team and participating in driving successful collections to positively impact the Company’s cashflows. Interpersonal and communication skills, including interactions with internal Papa Johns’ team members and building rapport with external customers and/or franchisees, will be critical for success.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and supervise the daily collection processes, including evaluating progress made in reducing unpaid amounts past due and providing suggestions for improvement.

  • Monitor customer payment history to identify potential collection issues and if warranted, propose potential payment plans to management.

  • Actively participate in collections for more challenging customers and/or franchisees, including potential coordination with the Legal team for required communications and/or potential payment plan arrangements.

  • For customers and/or franchisees on payment plans, monitor payments and follow-up with customer and/or franchisees in non-compliance and timely communicate payment plan status to management.

  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting of Accounts Receivable and collection key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.

  • Prepare monthly reports, with notes on current collection efforts, and actively participate in monthly meetings with a cross-functional team to discuss the current status of past due accounts.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Education, Experience & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

  • Three (3) to five (5) years Accounts Receivable and collections experience

  • Two (2) years supervision experience at minimum

  • International billing and collection experience, including international tax receipts processing, preferred

  • Strong computer systems experience, including Oracle ERP and Microsoft products
