Job#: 2049030 Job Description: Apex Systems is seeking multiple Electronics Repair Technician candidates for our client in Louisville, KY. This role involves working normal business hours with a brief onboarding period.Job Title: Electronics Repair TechnicianLocation: Louisville, KY 40218Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PMCompensation: $21/hr with $31.50/hr for overtime hours, weekly pay structureBenefits and Perks: Immediate access to benefits that include health, dental, vision, and 401k.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair advanced electronic circuits and equipment.Operate a soldering and rework station.Train associate technicians on the repair and operation of electronic equipment.Lead a team, organize, and oversee projects.Perform electronic component replacement.Navigate and investigate electronic control interfaces.Load operating system software on computers and mobile devices, and update firmware as required.Update IP addresses and navigate enterprise software systems.Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts.Repair mobile electronic devices such as tablets and handheld devices.Work within a team environment and use effective communication.Communicate with customers regarding the proper use of equipment and diagnose service issues.Utilize the company email system to send and receive messages.Complete all repair, labor, parts purchasing, and usage documentation in a timely manner.Comply with all department and company policies and procedures.Qualifications:Advanced skills in troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuits and equipment.Proficiency in operating a soldering and rework station.Ability to train and mentor associate technicians.Strong leadership skills to organize and oversee projects.Knowledge of loading operating system software and updating firmware.Working knowledge of updating IP addresses and navigating enterprise software systems.Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, drive, lift up to 70 pounds, push, pull, climb ladders, bend, squat, kneel, and work in various temperatures inside and outside the store.How to Apply:Please sent resume to Sam Wade, Professional Recruiter ([email protected]) with the subject “Electronics Repair Tech” EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
