Insight Global Level 2 Electronics Technician in Louisville, Kentucky

Job Description

An Employer in the Louisville, KY area is seeking a Level 2 Electronics Technician. This person will be required to work on site 5 days a week. The shift will be Monday - Friday from 8am-4:40pm EST. The key responsibilities include the following:

* Troubleshoot and repair advanced electronic circuits and equipment

* Operate a soldering and rework station

* Train associate technicians on the repair and operation of electronic equipment

* Lead a team, organize and oversee projects

* Perform electronic component replacement

* Navigate and investigate electronic controls interfaces

* Load operating system software on computers, mobile devices and update firmware as required

* Update IP addresses and navigate enterprise software systems

* Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts

* Repair mobile electronic devices such as tablet and handheld devices

* Work within a team environment and use effective communication

* Communicate with customers regarding the proper use of equipment and diagnose service issues

* Utilize company email system to send and receive messages

* Complete all repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation in a timely fashion

* Comply with all department and company policies and procedures

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience as an electronic repair technician with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits and equipment

1+ years of experience operating a soldering and rework station

1+ years of experience loading operating system software on computers, mobile devices and update firmware as required

1+ years of experience updating IP addresses and navigating enterprise software systems Supervisor or lead technician experience null
