Robert Half Financial Analyst in Louisville, Kentucky

Description

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, along with at least 2 years of experience in financial analysis within a large corporate environment. This individual will play a crucial role in providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and assess opportunities for improvement.

  • Prepare detailed reports, forecasts, and models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.

  • Analyze financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights to management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, define requirements, and develop solutions to address business challenges.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial processes, policies, and systems to streamline operations and enhance accuracy.

  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to provide relevant recommendations and guidance.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a large corporate environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data visualization tools.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision in work output.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
