Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer

Job Description

The Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for the complete electrical engineering scope of assigned projects. This role involves leading all phases of an electrical engineering project including concept, research, estimating support, component selection, network design, panel design, device layout, device troubleshooting, programming, in house testing, on-site installation, commissioning, and after-sales support. The engineer will work closely with the Project Management team to develop, manage, monitor, and maintain project schedules, assign day-to-day tasks, and ensure project requirements are communicated effectively. The role also includes managing projects to prioritize safety, quality, schedule, and cost, participating in or personally completing the design, programming, and commissioning of control systems, and creating Descriptions of Operations for complete systems.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Louisville, Kentucky.

Work Environment

The position combines work in both office settings and field locations. Candidates local to Louisville are preferred but applicants from Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Nashville, Seattle, Las Vegas are also considered. The role requires travel up to 50% with options for higher travel frequency. Benefits include per diem for meals based on GSA rates, additional hourly pay for overnight stays, and a flexible travel schedule of typically 10 days on, 4 days off.
