Title: Overhead Crane Operator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Overhead Crane Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating overhead cranes to move heavy loads and equipment within our facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key

Responsibilities:

1.Safely operate overhead cranes to move heavy loads and equipment within the facility.

2.Inspect cranes and equipment daily to ensure they are in good working condition.

3.Follow established safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

4.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate load movements and ensure efficient operations.

5.Maintain accurate records of crane operations, maintenance, and repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating and cleaning cranes.

7.Participate in training and certification programs to stay up-to-date on the

latest safety procedures and operating techniques.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

2.Valid certification as an Overhead Crane Operator (e.g., OSHA, CCO).

3.Minimum 2 years of experience operating overhead cranes in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

4.Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

5.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

6.Strong communication and teamwork skills.

7.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred

Qualifications:

1.Experience with crane maintenance and repair.

2.Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures.

3.Certification in rigging and signaling.

4.Experience working in a union environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
