BrightStar Care Care Coordinator in Louisville, Kentucky

We are looking for an excellent multi-tasker, who works well with tight deadlines, to join us in our core value centered organization to enhance the lives of babies up to aging adults and their families. This role is key to the success of the business with the main responsibility of connecting our caregiving & nursing workforce with the needs of our clients and enhancing the smooth operations of the facilities we staff. A background in billing, insurance and pre-authorizations is preferred along with a solid confidence in scheduling employees to their clients and maintaining a high level of excellence in customer service. We strive to provide best-in-class benefits packages, including: * 401(k) * Insurance:  * Medical * Dental * Vision * Weekly pay w/ direct deposit * Work for a company named twice for "Best Places to Work in Louisville" Responsibilities * Customer/client care – effectively manages the customer care procedures and serves as point of contact for client & facilities/customer relations. * Scheduling and care coverage – supports and uses all technology tools and resources to ensure proper business processes; schedules staff to meet client & facility care needs and minimize non-billed overtime; ensures on-call phone and assigned staff are properly trained and available as needed. * Assists with the intake of new clients and informs potential clients of our services and reasons to utilize BrightStar over other agencies * Assists in the development of organization goals and agency performance improvement activities * Assists with recruiting, interviewing, orientation & onboarding * Administers agency policies and procedures * Manages collection of required Dr’s orders & plans of care * Supervises, educates and coaches other field personnel, as directed by the Director of Nursing or Care Coordinator team * Provide information to be used for statistics, reports and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities * Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws * Assures compliance with all local, state and federal laws Education/Experience Requirements: * High school graduate required * Proficiency in computer skills using Windows * Prior scheduling experience preferred, ideally in the health care field * Flexibility and good time management skills A MUST * Excellent organization, planning, and project management skills. * Valid driver's license and an automobile required. * Drug screen and criminal background checks are conducted on all applicants.
