The Siena College Department of Modern Languages and Classics invites applications for a part-time instructor to teach a 3-credit course in Fall 2024: SPAN027-Women's Voices from Latin America, one of the Franciscan Core Courses in Diversity (offered in English to all Siena students). We seek a generalist who has a record of teaching excellence, who has experience teaching various levels of Spanish courses (and courses in translation), and who is interested in becoming an active member of the adjunct faculty team.

Salary $1,287.50 per contact hour

The hiring salary above represent the College's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.

Job Requirements:

Qualified candidates must possess a master's degree in Spanish, Ph.D. preferred (ABD's will also be considered). Native or near-native fluency in English and Spanish. Prior teaching experience of Spanish courses at the college level is required.

A background screening will be required.
