Job Description:

• Preparing estimates of the cost of materials, labor and equipment for a construction project
• Understanding and reading blueprints in order to make estimates of the cost of the project
• Establishing and maintaining the bidding process
• Maintaining a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
• Working with owners and contractors on feasibility studies and making adjustments to the cost when needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in construction estimating and cost control
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and pricing strategies
• Familiarity with construction site operations and management
• Understanding of contracts and project management principles
• 3 year minimum experience required
