The Opportunity

As part of the Tax team you'll gain exposure to various aspects of tax services, engaging in compliance, consulting, and provision services to provide comprehensive tax solutions. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with businesses, helping them build strong client relationships and enhance your skills across the tax spectrum.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis of tax laws and regulations

  • Collaborate with clients and firm management at various levels

  • Contribute to client engagement and project tasks

  • Develop technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources

  • Build and maintain meaningful client relationships

  • Support senior staff in various project phases

  • Utilize analytical skills to solve complex problems

What You Must Have

  • Juris Doctorate

What Sets You Apart

  • Preferred Cumulative GPA: 3.0

  • Bachelor's Degree in Taxation, Accounting preferred

  • Certification eligibility for primary credential exam

  • Researching and analyzing tax laws

  • Interacting with client and firm management

  • Self-motivation and personal growth

  • Knowledge of federal and state tax laws

  • Experience with tax compliance services

  • Innovating through new technologies

  • Working with large, complex data sets

The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $132,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
