Senior Software Engineer (Django/Python)

Location: Fully Remote (Must work standard hours in Pacific Time Zone)

Salary Range: $120K - $160K+ (negotiable for exceptional talent)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative team in the digital advertising and data marketing space. This role involves a mix of maintaining existing platforms and contributing to the development of new proprietary technologies designed to transform the way campaigns are built and traffic is monetized.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for digital advertising platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and product managers, to define and implement new features.

• Develop and integrate APIs and third-party services.

• Optimize and refactor code to improve system performance and reliability.

• Implement DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and version control.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to process improvements within the development team.

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our platforms remain cutting-edge.

Requirements

What You Bring:

Must-Haves:

• 7+ years of software development experience, focusing on backend development.

• Expertise in Python and Django, with a proven track record of building and maintaining scalable applications.

• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

• Proficiency in database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a team environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in the AdTech industry or digital marketing space.

• Familiarity with big data technologies like Snowflake or Redshift.

• Knowledge of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript or Vue.js.

• Exposure to machine learning and AI technologies.
