We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in West Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with multiple ERP systems, possess strong proficiency in journal entries, excel in month-end closing duties, and demonstrate expertise in financial statement preparation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health and success of our organization while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. The Sr. Accountant will be a full-time member of our Full-Time Engagement Professionals team and support multiple clients on Sr. Accountant projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute all aspects of month-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.

  • Prepare and review complex journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide insights for decision-making.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.

  • Maintain and reconcile multiple ERP systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency across platforms.

  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

  • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements to streamline accounting operations and enhance efficiency.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with a focus on month-end closing activities and financial statement preparation.

  • Proficiency in using multiple ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present financial information to stakeholders.

  • Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset and a drive for excellence.
