Senior Business Systems Analyst

Hybrid onsite 2-3x per week in DTLA

25% travel to local Los Angeles based offices

We are in the search for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team in the non-profit sector in Los Angeles, California, United States. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you are expected to understand data, reporting, automation, and integrations with CRM systems like Salesforce. You'll be involved in driving the initiatives through system analysis and project management, delivering innovative solutions, and collaborating with various teams to optimize operations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across programs, Finance, IT, and HRIS to gather business and system requirements, define project objectives, and develop KPIs.

• Foster transparency and manage expectations by keeping all stakeholders updated on progress, risks, and changes, aligning efforts to improve KPIs to meet strategic goals.

• Develop documentation and detailed project plans to support the implementation and management of business systems across programs.

• Map effective business processes and implement relative business data systems that support organizational needs, manage third-party analytics partners, and provide actionable insights.

• Create interactive dashboards to provide real-time insights, turning raw data into meaningful information comparing benchmark, program trends, and goal attainment.

• Perform analysis to identify areas for improvement, proposing solutions to enhance and improve program(s) performance.

• Deliver actionable insights tailored to each program’s needs, aligning them with strategies and business objectives to drive performance improvements and growth.

• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure they meet project milestones and deliverables while promoting a high-performance environment.

• Utilize your skills in Atlassian Jira, Business systems, Confluence, CRM, Gap Analysis, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Backlog Grooming, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, Salesforce Implementations, Salesforce Integration, and Domo

Requirements

• Minimum of five years experience in a Senior Business Systems Analyst role or similar

• Proficient in Atlassian Jira and Confluence

• Thorough understanding of business systems and their application in a non-profit environment

• Demonstrated experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce

• Proven ability in performing Gap Analysis

• Experience with AB Testing methodologies

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum project management framework

• Proficient in Backlog Grooming to prioritize tasks

• Understanding of Business Process Functions and their role in non-profit organizations

• Experience in creating Business Requirement Documents

• Demonstrated experience in Salesforce Implementations and Salesforce Integration

• Proficient in Domo for business intelligence and data visualization
