Lyft Operations Associate, Livery & Black Car in Los Angeles, California

City Operations sits at the intersection between the data on the screen and the operations on the ground. We tackle some of Lyft’s most challenging operational landscapes at Airports and City Venues while serving a wide variety of riders and drivers with our WAV and HVM/Livery products.

As an Operations Associate on Livery Operations, you will be responsible for onboarding 3rd party fleet supply, ensuring the success of 3rd party partners and owner operators on our platform and solving problems for our driver community. Continuous improvement is essential to the success of our business and you will help create and adapt our operational processes. The purpose of this work is to drive growth in Lyft’s Black & Black SUV segments by enhancing the experience of millions of riders and drivers.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end to end livery fleet onboarding in multiple markets or for multiple large fleets

  • Facilitate the recruitment of new supply by sourcing leads and completing outreach to onboard new fleet supply

  • Own the livery fleet invoicing process ensuring partners are paid correctly and on time

  • Own monthly Fleet Performance reporting to share with Fleet Owners in multiple markets

  • Ensure fleets are compliant to regulatory requirements in multiple markets

  • Develop strong partnerships with Fleets by promptly addressing customer inquiries, collect feedback, and identify pain points/inefficiencies to escalate when appropriate

  • Provide ad hoc or consistent support for Lyft Wheelchair Accessible or Disney Minnie Van programs.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience

  • 2+ years of experience in strategy or operations related work preferred

  • Experience solving touch business challenges. You not only effectively, creatively, and quickly solve complex problems, but you gain buy in from stakeholders in order to sustain your solutions as well

  • Experience prioritizing multiple competing tasks and projects by assessing urgency and importance

  • Ability to take direction and feedback, as well as open to seeking out support in order to successfully carry out tasks and see projects to completion

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, and extreme attention to detail

  • Experience using G Suite tools (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc) and Excel

  • Basic SQL skills preferred

The expected base pay range for this position in the Los Angeles area is $16.09-$20.11. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
