Insight Global Network Engineer - LA in Los Angeles, California

Job Description

A client in the live entertainment industry is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. This team is responsible for the maintenance and development of the network infrastructure, including wireless and telephony. This person will be responsible for replacing legacy switches with the newest Cisco model switches (9k). They are going through a large system upgrade, currently in phase 2 upgrading cisco switches and routers to 9k. This person will assist in setting up the physical infrastructure.

Skills and Requirements

  • Significant experience configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, wireless LAN controllers and Meraki wireless access points, and security gateways.

  • Experience troubleshooting complex network, voice, and internet connectivity issues including packet capture and analysis. (Cisco Wireless, Cisco Voice)

  • High documentation standards, including configuration documentation for supported systems, standard operational procedures, request for change, and service incident documentation. null
