Network Administrator

ONSITE in Downtown Los Angeles

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Network Administrator. Located in Los Angeles, California, this role involves managing and maintaining the organization's network systems and ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Cisco routing and switching protocols within the network

• Implement and manage network security systems including SonicWALL NSA series firewall and Fortinet FortiGate firewall

• Conduct cybersecurity operations using tools like Tenable io vulnerability scanner and Sophos security suites

• Manage Windows Server Active Directory Infrastructures, DNS, and DHCP

• Administer network switches, firewalls, and Storage Area Network

• Manage firewall security and VPN access, investigate Intrusion Detection and Prevention logs, and hunt network security threats

• Maintain and be accountable for network security best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator

• Proficient in managing Cisco routers and technologies.

• In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies and other security measures.

• Familiarity with Microsoft products and Active Directory.

• Proficiency in backup technologies and practices.

• Solid understanding of computer hardware and its application in a networking context.

• Experience with configuration management.

• Strong design skills, particularly in the context of network architecture.

• Capacity to work independently as well as in a team.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Relevant certifications in network administration or related fields will be considered an advantage.
