UCLA Health Med-Peds Residency Coordinator in Los Angeles, California

Description

The Med-Peds Residency Coordinator

supports the administration of the UCLA Medicine-Pediatrics combined residency

program. The coordinator supports a range of activities related to operations

and ongoing accreditation of this program, including recruitment,

onboarding/orientation, scheduling, evaluation, curricular implementation, and

event logistics.

Salary offers are determined based on various factors including,

but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full hourly

salary range for this position is $32.76- $49.65.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related and/or equivalent experience/training.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and web based applications.

  • Presents and expresses ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether oral or written.  Actively listens to what others are saying to achieve understanding.  Shares information with others and facilitates the open exchange of ideas and information. 

  • Open to change and new information; adapts behavior and work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles. Acclimates quickly to new situations warranting attention and resolution.

  • Demonstrated commitment to knowledge development/professional development.

  • High degree of initiative and independent judgement.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to complete work and meet established deadlines in an accurate and timely manner, and to prioritize short and competing deadlines.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to interact collegially with faculty, staff, learners and outside contacts to carry out the mission of the educational program(s) or initiative(s).

  • Manages confidential information discreetly and responsibly.
