About the Role

The Hydro Blast Technician will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials associated with Industrial Cleaning operations and high-pressure water blasting . Services will be provided in an industrial setting an d may require confined space work . This is a non-union role.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operate s and set s up all necessary cleaning equipment such as high-pressure pumps, in service line hydro-blasting equipment and Tank Cleaning equipment such as hoses and pumps.

  • Completes all safety paperwork and compl ies with all operational training , guidelines , and operational procedures.

  • Adhere s to all safety policies and practices, including use of personal protective gear.

  • Works safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings ( i.e. refineries, Power p lants, etc.).

  • C lean s , install s , fit s repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment on tanks.

  • Assist s in inspecting equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area before starting any job. Inform supervisor of deficiencies, which may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.

  • Provides assistance and works as directed under the job Leadman or foreman .

Qualifications

What You'll Need for Success

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid Drivers License.

  • Hydro blasting or pressure cleaning experience preferred, but not required .

  • General refinery and plant experience is a plus.

  • Must be willing to travel to client sites (Local or out of state) .

  • Customer Service Focused and comfortable with customer interaction.

  • Enthusiasm for being part of a safety-focused collaborative team.

  • Technology adept.

  • Personal Protective Equipment provided.

  • Candidates must undergo a physical examination and complete pre-employment screenings such as driver’s abstract review and drug and alcohol test.
