Description

Robert Half is looking for a Human Resources Manager on a direct hire basis. This is a role for an established commercial real estate company located in West Los Angeles that specializes in acquiring commercial and residential properties across the Western US. You will work on-site daily, and the salary range is $100-$125k.

JOB DETAILS

Our client is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to work closely with Senior Management across all divisions of the company. The Human Resources Manager will focus on policy implementation, recruiting, and connecting with various regional offices. This role is crucial to the company and is highly visible.

Duties of the Human Resources Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing all aspects of the recruitment process, which includes creating, posting and managing job advertisements, evaluating resumes, conducting interviews, arranging for office visit interviews, checking candidate references, carrying out the selection process, negotiating job offers, and collaborating with outside recruitment agencies where necessary

  • Suggesting strategies for retaining employees throughout the company to senior management

  • Overseeing remote working tools to boost productivity and engagement across the company

  • Carrying out onboarding practices such as employee orientation, paperwork coordination, supply ordering, and access to company systems and resources

  • Facilitating professional development, organizing recognition programs, semi-annual performance reviews, and managing performance evaluation processes

  • Overseeing the preparation of semi-monthly payroll via Paychex, as well as the tracking and calculation of PTO

  • Reviewing salaries and making recommendations for changes to senior management, and coordinating bonus-related documentation and payments

  • Ensuring all personnel, training and benefits files are up-to-date and maintained to the highest standard in compliance with HR and legal best practices, and adhering to the Employee Handbook

  • Assisting with the administration of benefits including group health insurance, worker’s compensation, 401k plans, and COBRA insurance

  • Processing job terminations, revoking systems access and conducting exit interviews

  • Coordinating company events, leadership retreats, and meetings, which may require some travel.

    Requirements

• Proficiency in using ADP and familiarity with an ATS system

• At least 5 years of experience

• Expertise in Compensation Administration

• Proficiency in managing Compliance matters

• Excellent at handling Employee Relations
