Description

Under the general direction of the Department Chair, Chief Administrative Office (CAO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other Department leaders and in concert with other research administrative staff, bear primary responsibility for overseeing/supervising the Department's pre- and post-award administration team for intra/extramurally funded research awards for Departmental Principal Investigators (PIs).

Salary Range: $86900.00 - $197300.00

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

5+ years of experience in Research Administration.

Proven experience as an effective team leader and supervisor, guiding team members to success.

Expanded knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, including interpreting financial statements.

Strengthened interpersonal skills for effective communication and relationship building.

Enhanced ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and comply with policies and regulations.

Improved analytical skills to analyze financial data and propose solutions.

Heightened attention to detail in managing complex administrative and financial tasks.

Advanced proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft suite software.

Preferred:
