We are in search of a Director of Business Development to join our client's team in Los Angeles, California. This role involves developing relationships and business opportunities with law firms in the southern California area, promoting and managing the administration of the company services a. The successful candidate will be comfortable with a significant amount of interaction with attorneys and legal professionals, providing case management and consultation. The industry focus is on ADR services, with an emphasis on dispute resolution. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity onsite in DTLA.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate dispute resolution and promote our ADR services within the regional legal, business, and ADR communities

• Deliver engaging presentations to various stakeholders, effectively communicating our value proposition

• Maintain accurate records of assigned cases in the case management system, making case-related decisions independently and following established procedures

• Assist arbitrators with procedural hearing management and related issues

• Leverage existing database to analyze user needs, problems, trends, and the quality of service delivery; respond promptly to inquiries regarding our ADR services

• Take part in hearings/conferences, providing feedback and recommendations to maintain or improve the quality of service delivery

• Help recruit panel members, adhering to our Qualification Criteria for Admittance to the Roster of Arbitrators and Mediators; participate in panel member reviews as per caseloads and needs

• Monitor regional markets where we provide services, tracking trends

• Assist with arbitrator training programs, education programs/conferences, and elections as necessary

• Ensure the confidentiality of case information and records, strictly adhering to information security and data privacy policies.

Requirements • Candidates must possess proficiency in the use of 3M.

• Experience with Adobe Acrobat is a necessary requirement for this role.

• Applicants should have a solid understanding of Case Management Software.

• Familiarity with Conveyancer is a significant advantage for this position.

• The ability to manage documents effectively is essential.

• Experience in briefing teams or individuals is required.

• Applicants should have a background in civil litigation.

• The role demands proficiency in claim administration.

• Candidates should have experience in complaint handling.

• Knowledge of consumer electronics is a beneficial asset for this role.
