Job Title: Data Science Lead – E-Commerce

Overview:

We are seeking a Data Science Lead in E-Commerce to manage a small team and drive data-driven decision-making for the Americas e-commerce business (Amazon/marketplaces, direct-to-consumer, and emerging channels). You will uncover actionable insights, optimize marketing strategies, and enhance business performance through advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the e-commerce analytics strategy, leveraging data across sales, marketing, and operations.

• Develop and maintain KPIs, reports, and dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI.

• Utilize predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques to drive business decisions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to implement and optimize strategies based on data insights.

• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, guiding projects and fostering development.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in consumer products.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.

• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.

• Strong knowledge of eCommerce tools (Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, Google Analytics, Shopify).

• Expertise in A/B testing, data modeling, and visualization.

• Experience with cloud-based analytics and big data platform
