Description
We are in the search for a detail-oriented Program Manager to be a part of our nonprofit client based in Los Angeles, California. As a Program Manager, your role will involve the meticulous organization and management of various databases related to our Southern California legal aid wildfire relief efforts. You will also play a crucial role in communicating updates and information to other legal aid organizations, ensuring a seamless integration of efforts across the board. Your leadership, management and resourcefulness will assist the agency in keeping up with changing regulations, updates, and outreach to the affected community.
Responsibilities
• Organize and manage databases of various legal aid wildfire relief efforts, including but not limited to Resource Centers, Intake Clinics, Housing Clinics, FEMA Appeals Clinics, Insurance Clinics, Document Replacement, and Landlord-Tenant clinics
• Ensure accessibility of database information to legal aid staff, community members, and government partners
• Gather and organize resources related to wildfire relief efforts, such as flyers and FAQs, and ensure their accessibility to relevant parties
• Develop ways to disseminate updates and information to Southern California legal aid organizations
• Assist in coordinating and keeping records of Southern California wildfire relief meetings
• Regularly participate in meetings with community partners and stay updated on key community initiatives
• Brief the Pro Bono Team and agency staff on key community initiatives
• Collaborate with staff from other legal aid agencies and the Legal Aid Association of California to integrate efforts and support the ongoing development of the Disaster Legal Assistance Collaborative (DLAC) with a focus on strengthening the disaster assistance infrastructure for the State of California.
• Use various software tools like Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), and Case Management Software for efficient processing and management of data.
• Manage billing functions and claim administration using CompuLaw.
• Exhibit excellent communication and calendar management skills for effective coordination and briefing.
Requirements • Possess proficiency in Aderant, a widely used legal software, to maintain and manage compliance-related data.
• Exhibit expertise in Adobe Acrobat for creating, editing, and managing PDF documents related to compliance.
• Demonstrate the ability to utilize the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for real estate transaction data management.
• Showcase experience with Case Management Software to effectively handle compliance-related cases.
• Possess knowledge of CompuLaw to manage deadlines and streamline the compliance process.
• Have a clear understanding of Billing Functions to ensure compliance in financial transactions.
• Exhibit strong briefing skills to effectively communicate compliance matters to different stakeholders.
• Show proficiency in Calendar Management to keep track of compliance deadlines and important dates.
• Demonstrate experience in Claim Administration to manage and resolve compliance-related claims.
• Showcase excellent Communication skills to articulate compliance matters effectively to all levels of the organization.
