The annual base salary for this position ranges from $62,200.00 in our lowest geographic market to $139,200.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

Nike’s Creative Operations team is seeking a skilled Campaign Retoucher to join our expanding Post-Production function. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in image retouching, capture processing, color management, and advanced compositing. The role will work closely with the Post-Production Director, Lead Campaign Retoucher, On-set Photographers, and Creative and Production teams to bring campaign briefs to life through expert post-production execution. This is a full-time position based at Nike’s Los Angeles Photo Studio. Applicant’s must provide a portfolio showcasing their technical proficiency.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced Creative Retoucher to join our Post-Production team in Los Angeles. This individual will play a pivotal role in the post-production process, bringing creative vision to life through expert retouching techniques. This role requires a keen eye for detail, advanced technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with photographers, art directors, retouchers and other creative team members. The successful candidate must possess expert experience in image retouching, color grading, and advanced compositing. In addition, a passion for creative photography, technical lighting and design would be beneficial. The position is full-time and located at Nike’s Los Angeles based Photo Studio. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As Nike’s Campaign Retoucher, you will perform high-end retouching on a wide range of campaign imagery, including lifestyle, performance and high-end product photography. You will utilize advanced retouching techniques to elevate and enhance campaign assets, incorporating beauty editing, color grading treatments, color authoring, compositing, and intricate detailing. Your role will involve maintaining consistency and quality across all retouched images, ensuring they meet Nike’s brand standard and creative vision. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality. Staying up to date with industry trends, tools and technology to continually improve your skills and techniques will be essential to your success with this role.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Under the leadership of the Post-Production Director and guidance of the Lead Campaign Retoucher, you will contribute to a wide range of campaign and creative retouching workflows. You will collaborate closely with photographers, art directors, and other creatives to understand and execute the visual direction for each campaign project. Additionally, you will collaborate with external teams, partner agencies, and production vendors to coordinate and execute post-production deliverables and digital outputs. When applicable, you will provide supervision and guidance to freelance retouchers, fostering a collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional retouching experience, preferably in a high-volume creative studio or agency setting.

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other relevant software (e.g., Capture One, Lightroom).

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of retouching skills and creative projects.

  • Exceptional eye for detail, color, and composition.

  • Color Management expertise in both RGB & CMYK workflows

  • Ability to interpret and execute creative direction with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communicator

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
