Responsibilities
Define and roll out architectural principles, patterns, guidelines, and standards; communicate basic components, help identify impacts, and work to resolve conflicts with application teams, business units, and other architects
Deploy to the organization the architecture practices, work with application teams and other technology project teams, and help develop and deploy architectural design and identification of enterprise implications of the designs
Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and GitOps practices to ensure scalable and automated cloud operations across the hybrid cloud
Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support in cloud architecture, Terraform, and legacy workload transformation
Implementation of designs and requirements into a shippable product; write code
Manage and self-organize to accomplish their own work
Participate in sprint planning and estimation, breaking down user stories into pieces as needed
Using design and coding best practices to build high-quality components and solutions
Perform unit, integration, performance testing
Participate in peer-level code reviews
Proactively identify the issues and collaborate with the team to solve them
Follow and promote best practices
Mentor other developers and collaborate with peers
Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Enablement, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their Data infrastructure needs
Requirements
8+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture and DevOps in Azure
Fluent in Azure DevOps and GitHub, leveraging their capabilities for CI/CD, release management, and infrastructure automation
Extensive experience as an Azure Cloud Architect, with a proven track record in establishing, maintaining, and socializing a Cloud Center of Excellence encompassing Azure, and AWS
Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies such as DNS, load balancing, and VPNs
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $140,000 - $220,000.
