Medicine (DGSOM) at UCLA invites a dynamic, strategic, and accomplished

financial expert to join our team as Associate Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

About DGSOM

As part of a world-class institution, the DGSOM is a thriving academic and

research powerhouse with 24 departments, 5 research units, and 5

interdisciplinary centers. With an annual revenue of approximately $4 billion,

over $1.4 billion in expendable net assets, and $2 billion in endowments, we

are the academic home to 3,200 faculty and 2,500 trainees, students, and

fellows. Our community also includes 6,200 dedicated staff and non-faculty

academics.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Associate Dean of Finance and Administration,

the Associate CFO will play a pivotal role in steering the financial future of

the DGSOM. In this role, you will:

  • Lead and oversee Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, and Internal Control & Compliance functions.

  • Manage a consolidated budget and resource allocation process for the School.

  • Develop long-term financial strategies and provide insightful analysis to support strategic initiatives.

  • Build advanced forecasting models and reporting tools to guide decision-making at all levels.

  • Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to the Senior Associate Dean, ensuring financial efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation across all units.

The University of California, Los Angeles is

required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this

role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are

considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to

experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and

certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical

for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a

position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications

and experience. The full salary range for this position is $177,100 to $436,100.
