In this exciting and rewarding position, the Assistant Nurse Director will be responsible for assisting with clinical management and administrative coordination of the Nursing System Float Team. The position is a combination of clinical (direct care) and administrative responsibilities, including:
Interview and hire process
Staff compliance with competencies and regulatory requirements
Maintaining up-to-date personnel files
Scheduling
Staff performance and evaluations
Staff education and teaching classes, as needed
Payroll processing oversight
Formal rounding to include population specific patient assessment, interaction with staff regarding patient care, and review of documentation as needed throughout the shift
Assess staff competencies and appropriateness of staff assignments
Assist in providing direct patience care, as needed
Identify actual or potential patient of staff safety risks
Salary Range: $59.67-$138.60 hourlyQualifications
We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated professional with:
Current California RN license, required
BSN, required
BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required
3 years recent acute care RN experience, required
Masters Degree in Nursing, preferred
ACLS, preferred
Nursing Professional Leadership Certification (NEA-BC, NE-BC, CNL, CNML preferred) or Certification in main area of Clinical practice or obtain within 12 months, preferred
Educational or progressive leadership positions, preferred
