Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager in Los Angeles, California. This role will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and working closely with the flutter team in a highly collaborative setting. The role is hands-on and requires a balance of technical skills and team management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 5 engineers to develop and maintain applications

• Drive the design, development, and deployment of applications using Cloud Technologies and JavaScript

• Utilize AB Testing during the application development for better results

• Collaborate closely with the flutter team to ensure the smooth operation of applications

• Manage 70% hands-on technical tasks and 30% management duties

• Work with Shopify and Hydrogen for eCommerce application development

• Ensure the timely completion of application development projects

• Develop strategies for the efficient use of resources in application development

• Handle any customer credit inquiries and take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments.

This role requires the individual to be on-site three days per week.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Application Development Project Manager/Lead

• Proven knowledge and experience with Cloud Technologies

• Extensive experience with Deployments, Design, and Engineering

• Knowledge of Shopify and Hydrogen platforms

• Proficient in JavaScript

• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred.
