Job Title: A&P Technician - Relocation to Anchorage, Alaska

Job Description

A&P Mechanic will perform line maintenance on Boeing 747, 767, and 777, passenger and cargo aircraft, in an outdoor line station environment. Responsibilities include responding to customer maintenance calls, repairing and replacing interior parts, fluids, and components as needed, and signing off on airworthiness. Teams consist of 3-4 mechanics per lead. The highest flight volume supports an airline operating 747, 777, and 767 aircraft, along with several other airlines with a handful of flights per day.

Hard Skills

  • 5+ years on 747 or 767

  • A&P license

  • Tool list - attached to this req, does not have to be exact

Job Type

  • This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

  • Out of state candidates qualify for per diem.

Work Site

  • This is a fully on-site position in Anchorage, Alaska.

Work Environment

  • 3 shifts: 6am - 4pm, 12pm - 10pm, and 9pm - 7am Most maintenance takes place in the 12pm - 4pm timeframe, hence the shift overlap

  • New hires usually train on morning or afternoon shift to get the most maintenance exposure Line maintenance - all done OUTSIDE.

  • Sometimes will be at a significant height if repairing something on the tail.
