UCLA Health Administrative Assistant to CMO for Ambulatory Care in Los Angeles, California

In this role, you'll provide administrative support to the Chief Medical Officer for Ambulatory Care (CMO-AC), ensuring that they are appropriately informed and prepared for day-to-day operations and providing support for special projects. This will involve prioritizing tasks effectively and completing work in a timely manner. You'll professionally represent the CMO-AC and Faculty Practice Group, using interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy to maintain professional relationships.
In this role, you will:
Coordinate and process information, maintain a calendar, plan meetings, compose reports, etc.
Assist with special projects as needed
Manage documents and communication
Maintain an electronic file system
Prepare PowerPoint presentations
Coordinate travel
Provide problem resolution and meeting support
Note: Position is Fixed Hybrid and will be required to be onsite.
Salary Range: $29.94 - $47.76 HourlyQualifications
We're seeking a self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, analytical professional with:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
Five or more years of experience supporting administrative functions at the executive level in a fast-paced environment required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and calendar management tools
Exceptional writing and editing skills to prepare business correspondence, agendas, minutes, and reports quickly and accurately
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Ability to make travel arrangements and adhere to UC Travel & Entertainment policy
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritizing skills
Ability to use BruinBuy, Travel Express, and other web-based systems. Working knowledge of University and Medical Center Purchasing, Accounting, and Payroll Policies and Procedures preferred
