Description We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Receivable Specialist for our team based in Los Angeles, California. This role is primarily involved in the investment management industry, with a focus on understanding and managing billings and accounts receivable. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the impact of billings and accounts receivable on the general ledger

• Handling cash applications and billing procedures

• Researching and resolving issues related to client accounts

• Proactively reaching out to clients for approvals and further research when needed

• Utilizing accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions

• Managing a high volume of billing and cash applications

• Processing customer checks and keeping track of cash activity

• Utilizing Sage 100 for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role within the Investment Management or similar industry.

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems such as Sage 100.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions.

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) including billing functions.

• Ability to handle cash activity and check processing effectively and efficiently.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
